Seniors Need to De-Stress - Vascular Health Sciences Chief Science Officer

Vascular Health Sciences Chief Science Officer Nathalie Chevreau refers to new study that links stress to stroke in seniors, calls on seniors to find a way to solve it.

A recent study at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis links stress to one of the nation’s deadliest killers: stroke. Vascular Health Sciences Chief Science Officer Nathalie Chevreau said the news should be of concern to seniors, whose risk of stroke tripled when stressed, according to the study.

“Seniors must seek out the best ways to de-stress their lives,” said Chevreau. “Stroke kills one American every four minutes, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
